From Children's Causes to Disaster Relief Support, RDG is Committed to our Community
During the wildfire season in 2015, RDG and its partner company, Tri-City Home Team, organized a GoFundMe campaign to purchase supplies for the safety and relief of the wildfire responders.
In 2011, RDG formed the first fundraising event for the Make-a-Wish of Washington & Alaska conducted in the Tri-Cities. Enlisting help from the Clover Island Inn and McCurley Integrity Dealerships, we organized a benefit concert headlined by Joe Walla, and McCurley organized the Corvettes on the River car show.
The following year, this campaign was handed to McCurley, who grew it to become the annual "Wheels Make Wishes" event.
For four years, Aaron has hosted an Apple Cup watch party and fundraiser at Uncle Sam's Saloon in Kennewick.
The first years, funds were donated to Make-a-Wish, and in 2019 they went to support the WSU Tr-Cities branch campus' "Cougar Cupboard", a food bank to support students.
Aaron travels all over the Tri-Cities to solicit items for donation by local businesses, as well as from the campus store in Pullman and the Dissmore family's store, all to be raffled off during the game.
"Without community service, we would not have a strong quality of life. It's important to the person who serves as well as the recipient. It's the way we ourselves grow and develop." ~~~Dorothy Height
